A little time, please. Lately, I've been too busy to have any opinions.
UrbanOhio.com - Describing our neighboring state, the site's Home Page describes it best:
"Ohio is a state of great diversity. UrbanOhio is a site showcasing Ohio architecture, Ohio skyscrapers, Ohio skylines, with obscure villages, small towns and big cities represented. Typically, people think of Ohio as farms and nothing of interest. Wrong. The state has eight metropolitan areas over 400,000 people: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Akron, Toledo, Youngstown, and Canton. Including those plus countless other smaller metropolitan areas and small towns dotting the landscape, about 75% of the people in the state live in urbanized areas."
What's Going Down(town) - A lively, frequently updated blog by the Spaulding Brothers, Scott and Brian, with links and commentary regarding the latest developments in Downtown Fort Wayne. Of particular interest is the attention given to Harrison Square and Parkview Field, the new downtown ballpark. I strongly recommend What's Going Down(town) if you're a supporter of dense, vital, active downtowns and want to keep up with what's being done to bring one to Fort Wayne.
A Beautiful City - by Kevin Whaley, John McGauley and guest contributor Joe Taylor (Every Life Has a Soundtrack), highlights the great things about Fort Wayne's downtown, neighborhoods, the surrounding countryside, parks, people, and events. It's upbeat and features some gorgeous photography.
Every Life Has a Soundtrack - Graphic Artist Joe Taylor's blog. Joe describes it best, himself; "My blog represents a creative expression of my day-to-day life. It's not a total account of the events that comprise my life - just random thoughts, emotions, memories, revelations, opinions and ideas. I believe there's a song for every moment in our lives and whether we know it or not, or remember it or not, the days of our lives have their own soundtracks."
Fort Wayne Observed - Observation and commentary on the Fort Wayne area's political scene, personalities, and events, by city councilman, attorney, and runner, Mitch Harper. FWOB is quite possibly the flagship of Fort Wayne blogs.
Phoetry - I'll let Everett White introduce his blog; "Photography is visual poetry. Plain and simple. The way light gives us a representation of the world around us, and being able to capture it on a medium to enjoy later ...well that's pure magic."
Beautiful, often captivating photos. Everett can capture the atmospheric character that makes the viewer feel present in the scene.
Fetchy's Bantering - Eric Fetcho's blog, featuring photos and commentary from his travels and the local Fort Wayne scene.
